💡You need two accounts: one for Plex (to watch) and one for Overseerr (to request). Both are free to sign up. Ask Dad to get you added!
🔒 First: The Security Screen AWAY FROM HOME
Our streaming apps are protected by Cloudflare so only family can access them. At home you won't see this at all — it's automatic. But if you're away from home (friend's house, school, mobile data) you'll hit a login screen first.
🏠At home on our WiFi? You'll go straight through — no extra login needed. The section below is only for when you're away from home.

You'll see a Cloudflare screen
When you try to open Plex or Overseerr away from home, you'll land on a page that says "Access" with a box asking for your email. This is normal — it's just making sure you're family.

Enter your email address
Type in your email address — the one Dad added to the allowed list. If you're not sure which one, ask Dad. Then click "Send me a code".

Check your email for the code
You'll get an email from Cloudflare Access with a 6-digit code. Open your email app and look for it — it usually arrives within 30 seconds. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.
💡 The code expires in about 10 minutes so enter it quickly!

Enter the code
Type the 6-digit code into the box on screen and click "Sign in". You're in! Cloudflare remembers you for a while so you won't have to do this every single time on the same device.
⚠️If you get "Access Denied" it means your email isn't on the allowed list yet. Message Dad on Discord and he can add you in a few minutes.
📋 How to Request a Show or Movie OVERSEERR
Overseerr is how you ask for new content. Once you request something, it gets automatically downloaded and added to Plex — usually within a few hours.

Go to Overseerr
Open your browser and go to seerr.teichou.net — or tap the link Dad shared.

Sign in with Plex
Click "Sign In" and choose "Sign in with Plex". Use your Plex account email and password. If you don't have one yet, ask Dad to invite you!

Search for what you want
Use the search bar at the top. Type the name of the show or movie you want. Results appear as you type.

Click Request
Click on the show or movie, then hit the big "Request" button. For TV shows you can request specific seasons or the whole series.
💡 The button turns orange if it's already been requested, and green if it's already available on Plex!

Wait for it to appear
Most requests show up in Plex within a few hours. You'll see it in your library when it's ready. You can check the status back in Overseerr anytime.
⚠️Some very new releases (still in theaters) might not be available yet. If a request stays "pending" for more than a day, let Dad know.

1Download the Plex: Watch Live TV and Movies app from the App Store or Google Play.
2Open it and tap "Sign In". Use your Plex account email and password.
3Tap "Home" or browse the library. Tap any show or movie to start watching.
4First time? You may see a "Play on this device" button — tap it to allow playback.

Fire TV Stick
1From the Fire TV home screen, go to Find → Search and type "Plex".
2Select the Plex app and click Download. It may already be installed.
3Open Plex and select "Sign In". It shows a short code on screen.
4On your phone or computer go to plex.tv/link and enter the code to sign in.
5Done! Browse the library with your remote and press the big center button to play.

1Open any browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari).
1Press the Xbox button and go to My Games & Apps → Apps.
2Search for "Plex" in the store and install it (it's free).
3Open Plex and select "Sign In". A code will appear on your TV.
4On your phone or PC go to plex.tv/link and enter the code.
5Use the controller to browse. A button plays, B button goes back.

1Open the App Store or Smart Hub on your TV.
2Search for "Plex" and install it.
3Open Plex and choose "Sign In" — a code will show on screen.
4Visit plex.tv/link on your phone and enter the code to pair it.
5Use your TV remote to browse the library and hit OK/Enter to play.
🔍 Searching & Browsing in Plex

Use the Search icon
Tap or click the magnifying glass 🔍 icon (usually top right or in the side menu). Type the show or movie name to find it instantly.

Browse by library
From the home screen you'll see TV Shows and Movies libraries. Browse by genre, recently added, or most watched.

Pick up where you left off
Plex remembers where you stopped! Look for "Continue Watching" on the home screen to jump back in.

Mark as watched / Add to Watchlist
Right-click or long-press a title to mark it as watched, or add it to your personal watchlist so you don't forget it.

❓ Common Questions
🔒 I keep getting the Cloudflare login screen even at home

Make sure you're connected to our home WiFi, not mobile data — the bypass only works on the home network. If you're definitely on home WiFi and still seeing it, try forgetting and reconnecting to the WiFi, or let Dad know and he can check if the home IP changed.
📧 I never got the Cloudflare email code

First check your spam or junk folder — Cloudflare emails sometimes land there. If it's not there after a minute, try clicking "Resend code". Still nothing? The email you entered might not be on the allowed list. Message Dad with the email address you used and he'll get you added.
🔄 Why is it buffering?

Usually means your internet is struggling. Try lowering the quality — tap the settings icon during playback and choose a lower resolution like 720p instead of 4K. On WiFi? Try moving closer to the router or switching to a wired connection if possible.
🎬 I requested something but it's not showing up yet

Most requests are downloaded automatically and appear in Plex within a few hours. If it's been more than 24 hours, drop a message to Dad — sometimes a show isn't available yet or something needs a manual nudge.
📺 Can I watch on multiple devices at the same time?

Yes! Each family member has their own account. Multiple people can stream at the same time with no problem. Just make sure you're signed into your own account so Plex tracks your personal watch history correctly.
🔐 I forgot my Plex password

Go to plex.tv and click "Sign In" → "Forgot Password". Plex will send a reset link to your email. If you're having trouble, ask Dad.
📱 Can I download stuff to watch offline?

Yes! We have Plex Pass so you can download stuff to watch offline. Open the Plex app on your phone, find the show or movie, and look for the download icon (↓) next to the episode or film. It'll save to your device so you can watch without internet — perfect for road trips or when you're on mobile data. Downloads live in the app under Downloads in the side menu.
🌐 Does it work away from home?

Yes! As long as you're signed into your Plex account, you can stream from anywhere with internet — a friend's house, on mobile data, vacation, wherever. Just open the app or go to plex.teichou.net.
🔞 Can I request anything?

You can request anything you like, but Dad approves all requests before they get downloaded. So keep it reasonable! Also, some content may be restricted based on your account settings.
